Wheel Sports
The wheeled sports arena and
surf centre will be closely linked as they will appeal to people
with similar passions and lifestyle aspirations.
They will be created around a fully themed bar with
music, videos, live world competition link-ups and everything
board sports enthusiasts and streetwise youth culture demands.
Skate Park
The skate park will be a
haven for boarders, inline skaters and BMX riders with
challenging ramps, jumps, rails, pipes and grinding edges.
This state-of-the-art
facility, part in and part outdoors, will also be capable of
hosting national and international level competitions. It
will have three zones. The ‘street plaza’ will have benches,
steps, kerbs, ledges, rails and granite blocks of various
sizes. This will
lead into the ‘central section’, which will provide a more
‘traditional’ skate park terrain including pyramids,
fun-boxes, ramps and half pipes. Finally, there will be a
‘split level’ area with kidney bowls of differing size and
depth. Each
section will merge into the next, allowing skaters and
riders to take a line from one end of the park to the other
without stopping. At over 6,000m2 and designed by
the world’s leading skate park creators, the
Mountain Bike Park
Where the site is capable
of accommodating such facilities, Venture Xtreme will
deliver the ultimate off-road biking experience with
thrills, spills, mud and water for enthusiasts and serious
competition. A series of graded off-road routes will lead
away from the centre out into the wilder areas of the site.
Specialist graded cross-country routes, enduro and
trail quest courses will be constructed.
For the ultimate thrill
Venture Xtreme will host Europe’s first and wildest indoor
BMX Competition Track
On each site, as space
permits, Venture Xtreme will incorporate Olympic standard
BMX race tracks to encourage the sport at the highest level
and provide much needed training and practice facilities.
