Adventure Snow Room

Imagine it snowing every hour, on the hour, 365 days a year. Imagine all year round igloos, a tobogganing slope, an ice slide, snowmen and a snowball throwing gallery. That is the adventure snow room: a fully themed children’s winter wonderland for little and big kids!

Adventure Play Centre

The children’s indoor adventure centre at Venture Xtreme will be a unique miniature adventure experience recreating many of the adult extreme sports areas in ‘kids scale’. The centre will include mini climbing walls, caves, rope bridges and a fireman’s pole in addition to some more traditional indoor play experiences. Outside a second free access children’s play area will be specially designed with a variety of natural wood play structures and sculptures.

Toboggan and Alpine Coaster

These two ‘cresta run’ adventure rides will be great fun for children and adults alike. They cross the boundary between sport and a ‘ride’. On the toboggan run, at speeds up to 40mph, a cart slides down a stainless steel half tube yet is completed unconnected to it. The Alpine Coaster is similar, but this time it runs on a track. Riders on both runs will control their own speed with brakes and are encouraged to have a second and third go to improve their speed. Both runs can have single or double carts, enabling adults to accompany young children.

Zorbing

Zorbing can take place on land, rolling down a hill, or on water! A range of experiences will be possible in 1, 2 or 3 person spheres. The most extreme form of the sport is rolling down a hill at up to 30mph in a pitch black ball for 2 riders harnessed into the sphere! More gentle options are also available but the maddest version of all is to roll down a hill in a ball part filled with water – now you know what it is like to be in a washing machine!
