Sport Zones
Venture Xtreme is divided into a number of sport zones: water sports, vertical sports, wheel sports and children’s sports.
The largest Zone, Vertical Sports, will accommodate the world’s
most comprehensive climbing centres with 5,500 m2 of climbing surface
and the capacity to host international competitions. The world's longest

white water slalom and rafting course will be the focal point of the Water
Sports Zone, which will also boast a unique twenty metre deep scuba diving pool
and the world’s biggest canyoning park. The Surf Centre, also able to host
international competitions, will be a trailblazer in
The Wheel Sports
Zone will host a state of the art skate and BMX park, including
The Children’s
Sports Zone aims to include a young person’s version of all the ‘big kids’
sports as well as an exclusive indoor snow room with sledging, a
snowball-throwing gallery, snowmen and igloos. Outdoors will be a toboggan and
alpine coaster and an adventure play centre.
Retail, rest and relaxation
Specialist retailers will include climbing, diving, surfing, skating and biking shops, as well as themed bars and clubs, bistros and restaurants. Other complementary facilities could include a state of the art gym and health suite, a specialist travel agency and overnight accommodation. Depending on the characteristics of the site, this could range from camp sites and self-catering chalets to 3 and 4 star boutique hotels with conferencing facilities.
Education and training
A range of
vocational training and instructional courses are planned for all levels and
abilities; whether you want to learn how to take underwater photos in the dive
pool, become an IRATA qualified rope access technician, gain NGB coaching status
or improve your climbing technique, there will be courses to suit everyone.
Venture Xtreme will also host multi-activity courses staged over days or weeks
for which on-site accommodation will be offered.
Lecture theatres and exhibition areas will attract speakers from around
the world and provide an ideal venue to premier the world’s best adventure films
and TV documentaries.
